Much has been made about the survey results that show in the #MeToo era, men are hesitant to engage with female employees in mentoring and in one-on-one meetings out of fear that it would look bad. Findings released earlier this year asserted that 60% of male managers are uncomfortable participating in a common work activity with a woman, such as mentoring, working alone, or socializing together. While these results infuriate me, I get it.
